Biography:

A.k.Steppa is one of the owners @ Phatbeats.net through his love of music, Djing & Clubbing has been a big part of his life, now focusing on House & Electronica music but never forgetting his Uk Garage roots he is one of the busiest Dj's on the London circuit. Being a Dj with over 10 years experience in the House/Garage/Dance music scene.

It all started off by him mixing DnB and Old Skool Breaks with friends, inspired by listening to legendary stations such as Weekend Rush/Defection/Pulse/Centreforce/Kool & Kiss (when it was a pirate) which then led him to play Uk Garage in its early days. Having had residencies/gigs in quite a few Clubs/Raves/Bars in the Uk from House Parties to Ministry Of Sound to Pacha, As well as playing abroad in Ibiza & Amsterdam, he has also done a lot of radio which is his passion, having had weekly shows on the London fm dial, on Station's such as London underground, Unknown Fm, Prime Fm, Xtreme Fm, Shine Fm, Subjam, Also www.liveforbeats.com over the years. He has played alongside some of the biggest names/acts/celebrities in the game for a lot of popular brands, labels & promotions.

He's a music lover firstly, Playing most genres of House music, Uk Garage and sometimes Hip-Hop & RnB, which he has always been in to. More recently A.k. has taken up being an extra's Actor, so you may have seen him in the background of Eastenders, shows on Sky One, British Movies & various music videos.
