Chrissy Maranello (Chris Maran) had a love for House music from a young age and was listening to world-class house DJ’s such as Pete Tong from the age of 11. He started his DJ career at 17 when he wanted to display his love for House music and get more involved in the dance music industry. After his first trip to Ibiza, where he was inspired by some of the worlds top House DJ’s, he bought his first pair of decks and started collecting vinyl.

With constant every day practise, it wasn’t long until Chrissy mastered his mixing skills and started creating his own mixing style. This soon moved onto playing at regular house parties where his talent was spotted by a local bar owner who offered him his first residency. Once Chrissy M had handed out his first demo, it wasn’t long before he was playing out in clubland. Chrissy M has now blessed the decks of some of London’s and Essex’s finest clubs including Egg, Café de Paris, Meet and Pacific Edge.

Chrissy is known for his ability to read and play for the crowd rather than just play to the crowd. His collection of vinyl is second to none and he knows exactly when and where to play some of the finest Funky House and Electro tunes.
